Last weekend, we headed up to the local mountains to play in the snow. The weather was great and we had a lot of fun.

A fast ride down an icy hill.It's nice to have snow so close, even though we only make it up there about once a year.
It's also nice to put on warm, dry clothes for the drive home. And hit Starbucks for a Chai Latte. :)

OH! Lacie will be so jealous to see these pictures! We had plans to go last weekend, on Monday really, but the Grapevine was closed. :( Bummer too cause I have a feeling that might be the last winter storm of the year!

How much fun! It is cool that you have the water, the snow, and the sunshine so close. All the seasons within a drive. That is cool!
