For many, many reasons.
But today, I have a few specific reasons:
1. My birthday is less than 2 months away.
2. My Mom wants me to be creative.
3. My Mom reads my blog.
4. My Mom came up for a visit yesterday.
5. She brought my early birthday present with her....

Isn't it pretty?!?!And yes, I've already used it. We made a batch of Zucchini Bread. It was yummy. I'm sure the new mixer had a lot to do with that.

Yes, you are a lucky girl, and mom really loves you. My mom gave me the same gift about 15yrs ago. I am still in love with it. You will get many years of love from this gift. I have one suggestion - MASHED POTATOES! You'll never make them the old fashioned way again.

Doesn't the Kitchenaid mixer just make you want to bake? I got mine at my bridal shower and I just want to bake. Sure I've been married over a year now and I still don't bake much but I want to :-) Even my hubby loves it. He did most of the work on a from scratch Kentucky butter cake. It was delectable!
