In the neighborhood

A herd of these machines came through our neighborhood yesterday. On their way to the almond orchard at the end of the street. I think these are the sweepers that remove debris from the ground before the tree shakers come in.

And while I was outside photographing the sweeper parade, I notice this....

our Pampas Grass in full bloom.

The grass looks neat! I've never seen that before. The blue sky looks nice too. It's been raining here for most of the afternoon. A good day to get some sewing done! Yeah!

Oh my...your grass is awesome. I bought some in the spring..and I'm not a very good gardener and it died. I'm hoping that next year it will come back...we'll see!

Love the pampas grass - do the flowers last if you cut them? I'd bet they look great as a flower display
