Weekly Unplugged Project - Sky

This week's Unplugged Project theme was sky.

Hubby and Nathan started on something last week that just happened to work with this theme.

Somehow, these two came up with the idea of installing a zip line in our backyard.

Yes, a zip line.

As in....flying through the sky zip line.

It's a little hard to tell from the photos, but Nathan loves it.

Next week's Unplugged Project theme: stone.

Hee hee, this brought back memories *grin* My friend had one when we were kids but it went over a large pond in her backyard, if you didn't get going fast enough you ended up stuck over the water and had to fall in :) Great sky entry,

A zip line in your own backyard. My daughter would LOVE that! There is one at one of the parks we go to, but it is quite a drive so we don't make it very often. She could play on it for HOURS.

I've always thought ziplines looked like fun, although I've never had a chance to try one. Can I come play in your backyard? :)

What a awesome idea!! I bet he is lovin' life right now...even with this heat. Maybe you can squirt him each time he goes by and he can cool off at the same time.

Love the matching boots and shirt!!

Thanks for sharing.

We definitely have this on our backyard to do list but the pool deck and some dead trees will put it off another summer I think. Looks like lots of fun!

AWESOME!! I want a zipline! Actually, I'd love to stop renting this house and buy a home with trees big enough to handle a zipline...until then, can we play on yours? :)
