Lately, I've been helping a friend with some sewing projects. She decided she wanted to learn to sew and has jumped right in. I don't consider myself a good teacher, but she's doing really well. Go check out her projects on her new blog Trying Sew Hard.
And, as good deeds sometimes do, helping her has helped me. I've found some motivation to be more productive at my sewing machine.
Another pair of sleep shorts for Nathan.
Yes, that's Spongebob fabric. He picked it out himself. He wants to wear this pair out in public.

I'm lovin that dish towl tote. It looks so bright and cheerful. Did you use a part of the towl to make the handles?
What a great idea!
I love your dishtowel tote! These would be perfect for our homeless personal packs that we hand out to homeless folks.
So how much do I owe you for that little plug on my blog? ;0) I still LOVE that bag!!!
Awesome dishtowel tote. They are addictive so be careful!
And woohoo for the little man and his sassy spongebob shorts. He will be styling and profiling in them!
Both projects look great! I remember my mom made me some "Jamz" back in the 80's. Too fun!
