Up, up and away!

It's a bird. It's a plane. It's......a finished project!!

A superhero cape for a friend's daughter. She'll be turning five soon and the cape was a special request. Her favorite colors are red and yellow, and her name starts with an "S", so this seems to fit the bill. (I used the applique from this tutorial.)

My super model likes this cape, but has asked for a Batman cape of his own.

How can I resist?

Let me just say, if you offered them for grownups, my husband wouldn't be able to resist! It turned out great!

Nice job on the cape! It will be a great gift. What little kid wouldn't love their own cape?

Love the cape! There is something about capes that children love... I made a black one with red lining for my daughter for Halloween one year, I think she was 10. It has seen a lot of use!
