Obi-inspired Hot & Cold Pack

My first complete project from One Yard Wonders.

This was a fairly easy project. I really like it when I can start and finish a project in one evening. It took me longer to fill the hot/cold pack with rice than it did to sew the whole thing! And I was very happy to find the karate kid fabric in my stash. I think it adds to the overall Japanese feel.

Mmmmmmm.....Chocolate Sheet Cake.

Yes, it looked better before we dove into it. But really, when a cake tastes this good, no one notices how it looks.

Where the wild things are

In my backyard, evidently.


We caught this possum last night. This is the second one in about a month. I guess they like cat food.

Hubby thinks these guys are cute. Personally, I disagree. What do you think?
