
Nathan found this little guy sunning himself on our driveway this evening.

Just a "common" Gopher Snake. Isn't he cute?

He is about 3 feet long.

We took him to a nature preserve area not to far from our home.
Oh the joys of living in the country......
skunks,
possums, and now snakes!
Hope he has a happy life in the wild.

I guess he is kind of cute! We don't have snakes in Alaska, so I haven't seen a snake in years.

My little ones have been finding lots or garter snakes around our house lately.

You are soooo brave! I don't like snakes. I know it's illogical but I can't help it, they creep me out. I've done well hiding it Nature Girl isn't creeped out by snakes.
